Whenever my kids stumble, I like to catch them, and say solemnly: 'I've got you. Mommy's got you!' And I can only hope, that when they've become adults, and they trip and fall on the troublesome path that is life, I'll still be there saying: 'I've got you.'
But sometimes I worry: 'Who's got mé?!' Then I see hubby's feet, dressed in Birkenstocks and woolly socks, and I breathe a sigh of relief.
