One of the ‘perks’ of living in the country is that I have no easy access to shops. That should help my bank account stay healthy! But there’s a loophole, and it’s called the internet.

While looking at the beautiful countryside from why window, I type: ‘amazon.com’ and voila, lots of book just waiting for me to buy them. And when I’ve had my fill of books, I head on over to ebay.com looking for skirts. Thanks to the internet, life in the country is looking up!

Sometimes it makes me wonder: ‘Could I have lived in the country, if there was no internet?’ When I grew up in the country, the internet didn’t even exist, and it was fine. But now that I’ve tasted the endless possibilities the internet offers, I don’t think I could do without it anymore.

Not only does the internet provide me with the newest bestsellers, and nice clothes, it also helps me connect with people from all over the world. When we moved from the city to the country, my internet friends moved right along!
