A positive way to look at January
According to T.S. Elliot April is the cruellest month. But for a lot of people, January gives April a run for its money! January: bleak, grey and empty Because January is the month that has Blue Monday in it. It's also the month when Winter has only just begun, and Spring is still far away....
Doing puzzles to calm the mind
Someone told me doing jigsaw puzzles quiets the mind. Since mine is always going a mile a minute, I immediately took myself to the nearest webshop and bought myself the puzzle with the prettiest picture. Puzzle of a store I chose one of a store, because I figured that way I could also feel like...
How does the heat affect you?
I'm sorry to say that the current tropical temperatures don't do my personality any favors... Normally I'm friendly and courteous. But when it's tropical hot I feel this overwhelming urge to slap people in their face. Like when they're taking up all of the aisle space in the supermarket. Or when they're dawdling. How the...
Message from the universe
My credit card got too close to my mobile phone and doesn't work anymore. And when I got to my hairdresser's appointment at two thirty, it turned out I had to be there at twelve o'clock. Then, when I took a walk this afternoon, I got seriously lost in the area I've been living in...

Never having given birds a second thought, I was surprised to find myself getting interested in them....
Have that feeling many days--Schools only a MONTH away!!! Even my daughter is ready to go back WOW!
You get "me" back full-time once the kids head to college! Then, you'll miss "THEM." I hope you'll remember YOU once in a while between now and then. 🙂
I miss me too!! Love it! With God's grace, wishing you peace and many blessings to you and yours!
Wow. It's crazy how time flies, kids are all over the place one minute and the next they're gone. Right now, I'm right where you are. I"m wondering where RHonda went. But I know my days will come and I'll be tearing up, looking around, wondering what to do with myself!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Haha! I just love this!!!
Funny! There are times like now, when I'm so glad I am an empty nester:)
