It must be the greatest sound in the world! I still have a toddler at home {not sure how that happened} so for now, I will dream of days of silence. Enjoy it!
With my teen gone it seems like I’m in the wrong house…now the baby’s about to go to school so things are really ’bout ta’ change here. Wonder how I’ll like the silence?
I only get that silence in 2 chunks of my day this year. Older son is a senior and there’s open campus for lunch for seniors. with lunch only 1/2 hour and the school 1/2 mile up the street, guess where the only place he has time to go is? So I get quiet in the morning, a kid home for lunch, and quiet in the afternoon. No fair! I’m here from the hop, joined you as a follower.
