Fake Flowers

December 27, 2015
'Fake them, if you can't keep them alive!'

That's my motto. And therefore I have lots of fake flowers in our home.

At first I resisted fake flowers. I wanted the real deal. But when the real deal kept dying on me, and being a lot of hard work, I succumbed to the lure of fake flowers. They're everything my kids and real flowers are not: low maintenance, clean and always perky.

So let show you my beautiful fake flowers!

How do you feel about fake flowers?

  1. You can actually buy some really nice fake flowers these days. I have seen many lately where I had to check if they were real :)

  2. Those sound great. Fake flowers that look real, are the best. I don't think mine will ever be able to pass as the real deal...

  3. While I'm not a huge fan of the fake silk or polyester flowers, I really like the paper flowers that have been cropping up lately! I went to a wedding where the bridal bouquet was made entirely of giant paper peonies... it looked amazing & fun to make, too.

  4. That is a good motto. If you can't keep them alive. Personally I love real flowers. Happy New Year!
