My husband lóves his Birkenstocks. Even when there's snow he won't take them off... And with plastic sandwich bags he doesn't have to.

    You're a better wife than me, I'd be all over him to get proper shoes on. What kind of example does that set for the kids, if you have any.... My son would think he could wear sandals too. Nuh-uh.

    I've done that before! The first time we got snow after we moved here to the desert, we were unprepared for it, but the kids just had to go out and play. Everyone wore plastic bags on their feet and had the best time!
