Sun hat versus sun glasses
I never wear sunglasses. I don't even own a pair.
Because when I'm using my contacts I don't want to have wear glasses. That would defeat the purpose of the contacts.
And when I'm wearing my glasses I don't want to wear sunglasses on top of them. I could invest in a pair of prescription sunglasses but I can't be bothered.
Luckily I've found a great alternative to sun glasses: a sun hat!
The wide brim of my sunhat protects my face and my eyes from the sun. And I look the way it looks!
What kind of sun glasses do you wear?

Living in Queensland Australia it gets very hot and we need sunglasses and a hat! I need sunglasses that are prescription so I can read when I have them on. Thanks for sharing at #AnythingGoes
ReplyDeleteI was like you until the sun damage started showing up in my eyes. I try to be more mindful of wearing sunglasses with UV protection so I keep my eyes healthy. Thanks for sharing at the #AnythingGoes Link Party.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize the sun could actually damage my eyes Sandy. I thought the hat took care of that. So thanks for the info!
DeleteUV rays can cause cataracts and macular degeneration of the eyes, so U/V Polaroid protected sun glasses could be a good choice. Take good care of yourself so you can keep sharing on the #HomeMattersParty.

I prefer sunglasses, but that is a personal preference! Thank you for sharing this at the #SmallVictoriesSundayLinkup!
