Panting with admiration I watched a documentary featuring a father of 12. He stayed so cool, even though havoc surrounded him!
So that's how to do it!
I sat on the edge of my couch when he told the audience how he maintained his cool under the pressure of such a big family.
His precise words were:
'I do everything I have to do. And when I'm finished, I chill out.'
Disappointed I leaned back on my couch.
Because I'm néver finished.
Are you good at chilling out? And how is your husband?
Oooh time to chill? What's that? My time to myself is when I go to the gym and even then I'm still working :) #JustAnotherLinky
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's not chilling Toni. Chilling is what the guy in the pic is doing : )
DeleteLike you, I am NEVER finished. I am always behind on everything. I don't understand how these people have time to chill? If you ever find the magic remedy, please let me know!

I will Laura. Though I'm not at all confident I'll find it.
DeleteI hardly ever feel 'finished.' I collapse in exhaustion at the end of the day, does that count? #justanotherlinky
ReplyDeleteI think it's a man's prerogative to actually feel like you're finished. It's harder for women to feel that way...
DeleteThis is a great conversation. Gotta make it happen.
ReplyDeleteGet er done!
ReplyDeleteHe looks comfortable. Thanks for linking up for Wordless Wednesday. Have a terrific day!
ReplyDeleteFeeling finished sometimes is as elusive as a unicorn!
ReplyDeleteI like that analogy Sandra!
DeleteMy partner will chill out more than me. I can't remember the last time I properly chilled out without having to think of anything and things going through my mind!
