Sometimes beauty comes out of ugly

My husband brought home this really ugly plant. My father in law bought it, and then gave it to my husband.

So it was a gift.

And you know what they say about gifts and horses.

Which is why I silently suffered it's ugliness.

But then one day it suddenly surprised me. Because out of that ugly plant, a beautiful flower appeared!

I just know there's some life lessons in there! Like:

• Expect the unexpected.
• Don't be too quick to judge.
• Don't throw something out, just 'cause it's ugly.
• And finally, and I've saved the best for last: Sometimes beauty comes out of ugly.

So when life is hard and ugly, you never know.

Something beautiful may come out of it.
