Is AI a friend or foe for bloggers?
I'd like to think it's a friend.
AI friend or foe?
At first I was all: 'Oh AI sucks and it may be the end of me as a blogger!' But then again, I always think the worst about everything. So I have learned not to jump to conclusions too quickly and at the very least do some research first.
So I tried Chat GPT and I was pleasantly surprised. Turns out, it's kind of handy! You can use it to lay the foundation for a great blogpost, which you can then expand on.
AI can be a good friend for bloggers
So I think AI can be a friend for bloggers. Especially when you're staring at a blank screen and you have no idea what to write. You can then use AI to get your creative juices flowing.
The trick is not to use it as a substitute for your own writing.
But it's great as a stepping stone.
What do you think about AI: is it a friend or foe for bloggers?
At this point, I consider AI like a cheat sheet. I can see how it would be beneficial in one way, but I'm not interested in using it at this point. Perhaps, I have only been exposed to those that use it for "most of" their writing versus someone who uses it for a basic outline, then writes the story themselves.
