Bingo! 5 minute tricks to give yourself a break that actually work

November 21, 2016

Being a homemaker can be tiresome.

As a mom, you're usually busy taking care of everybody else's needs. Not to mention the housework, the grocery shopping, driving the kids etc.

But do they say thank you mummy for being such a wonderful wife and mother? Noooooo! Instead they complain about the food, missing socks and the weather.

So sometimes life as a mom can be a bit shall we say... stressful?

So you should take care to also take care of yourself!

5 minute tricks to give yourself a break

It's important to relax everyday, and to make sure 'your tank' is full.

But that's probaby easier said than done. Which is why, after giving it some thought, I came up with these 5 minutes tricks that you can use to relieve stress.

1. Go for a walk!

Walking can help relieve stress.Walking is simple, free and one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier. Take a 5 minutes break to walk while your kid is busy playing. I usually walk out onto the lawn. If need be, you can even choose to walk inside your house.

 2. Eat healthy

Eating healthy is very important. Sometimes, you might stress out because of hunger, and studies shows that hunger can multiply stress. Eat healthy and nutritious food like fruits or raw vegetables to calm yourself.

3. Meditate

Meditation is another word for relaxation. Meditation is proven to be the best therapy to relieve stress. It calms down your body and soul, giving you a relaxed composure. You can even do this with your kids, though getting them to co-operate will require some real good tactics...

 4. Have a cup of tea

Green tea is loaded with healthy antioxidants and beneficial compounds that can increase your sense of well being. In addition, steeping and cooling the tea forces you to slow down and enjoy the moment.

 5. Play a game, and no NOT with the kids!

By this I don’t mean you should play action and thrill filled games. Because they might make you feel even more stressed!

Games like online bingo are mostly based on luck and random number generator. They're easy to play.

You can choose to play on GameVillage which has an hassle free concept and is among the top when it comes to the best bingo communities online.
