My husband likes to do things by halves
My husband likes doing things by halves. Even though a job is only half done. My husband likes to do things by halves For example: he has no problem mowing part of the lawn, and then declare: 'I'm gonna take a break! I'll do the rest later.' His favorite answer when I ask him to...
There's no use fighting over Brussels Sprouts
'Right! This Sunday we're having Brussels Sprouts!' hubby declared haughtily and threw a bag of Brussels Sprouts on the table. But I had planned vegetable soup! I was unpleasantly surprised, because I had planned some nice and easy-to-make vegetable soup for our Sunday dinner. So I asked: 'Will you be doing the cooking next Sunday...
Low maintenance woman!
I'm very low maintenance, you know!' I like to tell my husband. 'I don't desire expensive holidays or expensive clothes. Just give me a Big Mac or two, or three, or maybe four, and I'm a happy woman.' You're very lucky with me as your wife And to make sure he gets my drift, I...
I've got a headache
Now that the dust of Summer Vacation has fínally settled, I took some time to look around me and perhaps smell some roses. And the first thing I saw, was hubby. He looked kind of dusty and neglected, so I decided to do some work on our relationship. Considering both my mom and Dr. Laura,...
The woman of my husband's dreams
After fifteen years of marriage, I'm still the woman of my husband's dreams. In his dreams, not a night goes by when I don't sell the house from under him, or buy new furniture without talking to him about it. Apparently I went out and bought an Aga Last night I apparently went out and...
Awww, sounds like a lovely photo. Don't be saddened by her comment, martial relationships change as children come along. The love is strong, dutiful and romantic but not as young love. I believe children know can see love and know it, in all its forms :0)
I agree that relationships change but it still can be strong and romantic if we work at it.
At least the two of you are still the topics of her artwork. Not only that, but when she thinks of you, the fist image which comes to mind is a pleasant one. Whenever my wife and I go out for an evening (ummm...right in 2009), we are very straightforward about telling the kids we need some time not being parents. A popcorn and a movie seems to cure them of heartsickness pretty quickly:)
Thanks Kenny. That's a lovely way of looking at it.
Kids are so funny! Wonder what her picture would like if she drew you now? Hehehe
That sounds ominous Becky Jane. Now you've got me worried!
