A good deed
'Try to do something nice for someone else every day!' I always tell my children. Sometimes you have to wait until an opportunity to do something good presents itself. And this weekend a lovely chance fell right into my lap. Childhood memories Someone had read one of my posts about children's bibles. She'd recognized one...
Sometimes you have to grow to get to the light
We can learn a lot from nature. Take for example this beautiful rose, that's growing in our garden. It was in a place of darkness, but by growing it's now blossoming in the light. Make sure you don't miss any posts on Momfever! Enter your email address: Delivered by FeedBurner

Did you know that it only takes 6 minutes of reading to lower your stress levels by 68%? When you read your heart slows down and your muscles relax. Also, a book can help you put some distance between you and your life. Maybe you're worrying about one of your children. A book can help...
Feedback Junkie
I'm a feedback junkie. Which is unfortunate, because I'm a mom. Moms don't usually get much feedback, except when things go wrong. Like when you have the audacity to skip doing the laundry for óne day, then the feedback starts pouring in. 'Where are my socks, Mom?! Didn't you do my laundry?!' and 'Honey, I...
The power of pondering
I love to ponder over yonder. Every day I ponder life and the universe for at least 45 minutes. In the mornings I ponder while I drink my cup of coffee at 10 o'clock. In the evenings I like to ponder while sipping a big mug of tea. During my pondering I listen to classical...
Saying goodbye
When I walked my two youngest to school last Monday I, whispered: 'Ot and Pete, do you realize this is the very last Monday we'll be walking this way to school? After we move to the country, we'll have to ride bíkes to get to your new school.' And when Tuesday arrived, I announced in...
This is too funny, love the denied stamp and that you can't have me time. I love my me time for making jewelry, snuggling with cats and eating chocolates.

As a mom, I know this feeling.
Yes, me time is important!
I hope so too!
I have to say, as the little ones get older, you won't need to pull that stamp out as much. Me time get easier to have. Happy Easter. And sneak a chocolate bunny from a basket and slip away without anyone looking and enjoy.

I don't want to believe it's overrated Crystal. I think it's as important as oxygen.
Thanks! You're giving me hope : )
I'd trade ME time for a NAP any day. Or does that fall under the me time category? Naps are a must-have, because I NEVER get enough sleep. The rest is gravy.
For me a nap is indeed the same thing : )
